Archery Whitetail Deer Hunts
Archery Whitetail hunting on our South Dakota ranches is truly unbelievable. We have have over 150,000 acres of private ranches in Central South Dakota. These ranches are located West of Pierre, South Dakota on and near the Cheyenne and Bad Rivers. Hunters can expect to be hunting 140-180″+ bucks on these ranches. Most hunters will see multiple deer over 150″ during a typical 5-day hunt. We hunt these bucks out of ground blinds and tree stands in river and drainage bottoms. These ranches have high densities of Whitetails and hunters can expect to see 10-20 bucks per day. We typically have 90-100% shooting opportunity on these hunts. We run these archery hunts in early November towards the beginning of the rut. This allows our archery hunters to hunt the week prior to gun season and it also gives them first opportunity at some of the biggest bucks. South Dakota archery permits are obtained over-the-counter for private land and are valid for either species.These hunts are hotel based hunts with all meals and lodging included. Hunters can fly directly into Pierre, South Dakota and we will pick them at the airport. Hunters can also fly into Rapid City or Sioux Falls, South Dakota however they will need to rent a vehicle and drive to Pierre.
