Public Draw

We typically get most of our hunters permits through the public draw system.  On average we draw permits for 30-40% of our clients.  The New Mexico Game and Fish Department has an outfitter sponsored draw system that allows us to apply you for your tag and give you better odds than a standard non-resident. In order to apply for the draw with us you will need to send us a limited power of attorney with personal information attached, and a current guiding agreement. Both of these forms can be dowloaded from our Elk Hunting page.

Before you send in your information and fees please contact us and check the availability of the hunt you are looking to book. The license fees submitted for the applications are refundable if you are unsuccessful in the draw.  There is a $25.00 application processing fee that we charge for each application.  This amount is deducted from your refund if you are unsuccessful. The draw deadline for New Mexico is March 28, 2011.
