New Mexico Cow Elk Hunting

All of our New Mexico Cow Elk Hunting takes place on our 290,000 acre Great Western Ranch. This is the biggest ranch in unit 12 New Mexico and one of the top 5 biggest ranches in the entire state. We have a stable elk population of 1500-2000 head. Cow hunters will have plenty of shot opportunities while hunting on this piece of property. Last year we ran 100% kill success on our cow hunts. We offer cow hunts in the months of November and December and we also have a couple of combination hunts with Mule Deer and Antelope in October. All hunters get to stay in our lodge and have full access to all of our facilities.
