Landowner Tags We do sell landowner tags to hunters who do not draw permits. These landowner tags vary in price and are a secured way to guarantee an elk hunt for the fall. We offer unit-wide landowner tags in unit 13 and ranch-only landowner tags in unit 12. Unit-wide landowner tags are just like a public draw tag except they have to be bought from a landowner. With a unit-wide landowner tag you can hunt any public lands or private lands that are open to public hunting. Unit-wide Landowner tags are only available in unit 13 at this time. Ranch-only landowner tags are only valid for the private property that the tags were issued. We only offer ranch-only landowner tags in unit 12 and if you want to hunt public lands in unit 12 then you must draw a public permit through the draw process.
