Hunting is my passion and over the years I have been fortunate enough to develop a business that is fueled by that passion. I grew up in a farming and ranching family but hunting was always the biggest part of my life. I pursued a collegiate baseball career and when that came to an end my senior year of college I decided to do something that I truly loved so I started Black Mountain Outfitters, Inc.
Over the years I have been able to develop some of the highest quality trophy hunts that the west has to offer. I have grown this business with my own sweat and blood and over the past few years my clients have killed some of the greatest trophies to come from the regions we hunt. If you look at the photo gallery and video page you will see my face in many of the photos and almost all of the footage. I personally guide as many clients as possible and take pride in the hands on approach me and my guides use when it comes to our hunters. The guides I work with are the best in the business and you will not find a more experienced team of hunters. If you are looking for a fancy lodge or a pampered hunt then you are looking in the wrong place. If you are looking for world class Elk and Deer hunting then you need to spend some time on my site and explore what we offer.
I invite you to spend plenty of time looking though all of our videos and photo galleries. There are some amazing animals we have put on film that are both dead and alive. Do your homework and call the reference list provided for each hunt so that you have a true idea of what to expect. The reference lists can be found on the booking forms for each hunt.
